Thynkb Design
Human factors deisgn & visual design for a product development company.
Thynkb is a Tucson‑based product development company that helps everyday inventors bring ideas to life. As a Product Designer & Engineer, I worked across physical products including furniture, wearables, and innovative consumer devices.
When it came time for the company to rebrand, I led the effort, reimagining an identity that reflected Thynkb’s roots: a community of energetic engineers and makers driven by curiosity, creativity, and big‑sky thinking about what we can build next.
Challenge
Thynkb’s brand had grown in a piecemeal way, leaving it without a clear strategy and causing potential clients to drift toward competitors with more defined service pathways.
To position itself as a leader in invention development, the company needed a clear hierarchy and new offerings that guided people to the right services and a bold visual language that stood out in a crowded market.
Impact
Thynkb’s brand reinvention attracted more clients who clearly understood its services and how they aligned with their goals.
With 70+ successful new projects, and multiple projects raising tens of thousands on crowdfunding platforms, the company has emerged as a recognizable name for the next generation of bold makers.
The following gallery is a sample of my human factors & industrial design work with Thynkb. While I'm unable to describe this work in detail here, I am happy to discuss in-person.
Service Offerings
Thynkb offers end‑to‑end physical product development, integrating with teams at any stage to troubleshoot, refine, or create designs that make people say, “It’s about time someone thought of that.” Businesses bring in their wishlists, then Thynkb fills in the gaps until the product is fully ready for production.

Target Clients
Thynkb’s redesign targeted energetic product startups with big ideas who recognize their development blind spots and look for expert guidance before manufacturing.
The new identity needed to communicate that inventing tomorrow’s products can be bold, modern, and genuinely fun—inviting creators to think with abandon.
Branding & Visual Language
I developed an Apple‑inspired visual language that used bold, precision‑driven cues to simplify Thynkb’s messaging. It leaned into its original, bright color scheme.
The brand system guides viewers toward either new‑product creation or existing‑product support, while signaling the company’s experienced, forward‑thinking approach.

Production Plan Redesign
Thynkb offers flat‑rate “production plans” that map every step from idea to market. But their previous design felt plain and didn’t reflect the excitement behind each client’s concept.
The redesigned plan format needed to showcase Thynkb’s expertise while clearly signaling, “Your idea is incredible, and we’re excited to build it with you.”

Measurable Outcomes
Thynkb’s recognizability and new‑client intake have grown significantly since the redesign, supported by 70+ new successful technology projects across wearables, furniture, appliances, tools, and other consumer products—many of which reached the market.
Solo entrepreneurs and emerging businesses now see Thynkb as a capable, experienced partner whose design and engineering expertise can stand shoulder‑to‑shoulder with today’s most influential technology companies.
Growth & Learning
Innovation sat at the core of this project, pushing me to reconnect with the inspiration behind Thynkb’s origins. I refined my precision‑driven design approach to express boldness with modern elegance, blending strategies from leading tech companies into a single cohesive visual language.
Along the way, I sharpened my business instincts—clarifying Thynkb’s two service paths and better understanding how prospective clients think—so the brand could draw them in with both capability and genuine excitement for the products of tomorrow.
