Copper Canyon Law
Targeted design and marketing for a growing Arizona law firm.
Copper Canyon Law is a Mesa‑based legal practice with multiple semi‑autonomous departments operating like a legal co‑op.
I was contracted as a Design & Brand Strategist to support the business‑law arm as it sought to expand its offerings and reach new clients. By integrating into their existing brand and operations, I collaborated closely with staff and immersed myself in the needs and journeys of their target customers.
Challenge
Business law was a smaller practice area for Copper Canyon Law, but it held major growth potential if the firm could reach companies seeking contracts, documents, and startup legal services with design that met them where they are.
The challenge was to create clear, memorable communication and a structured engagement journey that guided prospects from first awareness to long‑term, revenue‑generating clients.
Impact
Copper Canyon Law saw a clear increase in business‑law clients following the design work.
The clients who arrived in‑office were more prepared, more confident, and more assured in the expertise they were about to receive.
The flexible, scalable system I created continued to support the practice as it grew and evolved.

Project Scope
Arizona has 706,000+ small businesses, yet most operate without legal support.
Legal services from a community‑rooted firm like Copper Canyon Law protects them long-term against disputes and compliance risks.
Design becomes the bridge that helps potential clients find them, understand them, and trust them.
Existing Brand
Already a well-respected practice, Copper Canyon Law needed a design complement that respected the integrity of their brand, practice, and values.

Business Booklet
Because an attorney can’t personally educate every business owner, they needed an engaging, informative leave‑behind that could both teach and attract new clients.
I designed an interactive booklet that stands out in community spaces and guides aspiring entrepreneurs through the essential steps of forming an LLC, ensuring they arrive at Copper Canyon Law prepared and ready to move forward efficiently.

Social Media
The most effective way to reach aspiring entrepreneurs is online, so I designed a series of clean, direct posts highlighting Copper Canyon Law’s most essential business‑protection services.
Each post was intentionally educational, guiding viewers through a clear path of discovery and building trust that naturally positioned the firm at the center of their next steps.

Lawsuit Flowcharts
Law often feels distant and overwhelming for business owners, and traditional black‑and‑white documents rarely communicate clarity or confidence.
After noticing clients were disengaging due to confusion and intimidation, I created custom flowcharts that broke complex procedures into calm, visual, step‑by‑step paths.
This human‑centered approach reduced repetitive questions and encouraged clients to stay engaged with the firm longer.
Measurable Outcomes
Each design element worked as part of a cohesive system, guiding potential clients through a clear path of discovery, engagement, and trust with Copper Canyon Law. After implementation, the firm saw a measurable rise in business‑law inquiries—especially from clients who arrived better informed, better prepared, and ready to begin services efficiently.
Growth & Learning
Law and business can easily intimidate those unfamiliar with them, so the challenge was making both disciplines approachable and even enjoyable without losing the firm’s core identity. I learned to balance clean, accessible information with moments of expression, using visual cues and systems thinking to guide attention and sustain engagement.
By integrating fully into the firm’s daily operations, I gained a grounded understanding of their business‑law services and demonstrated to the attorneys the measurable impact of thoughtful, human‑centered design.
